Illinois Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Job Summary
To support a growing mental health practice, the part-time Illinois Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will conduct remote psychiatry assessments, prescribe medications, and integrate brief psychotherapy while collaborating with a dedicated psychiatric team.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct remote 55-minute psychiatry assessments and 25-minute follow-up sessions for medication management and brief psychotherapeutic support
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Collaborate with therapists and clinical leadership to enhance care delivery and tailor treatment plans using data-informed tools
Required qualifications
- Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) licensed to practice in Illinois
- At least 2 years of experience providing mental health services as a PMHNP, including remote outpatient telepsychiatry with adults
- Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states, with costs covered by the employer
- Preferred additional PMHNP licensure in Texas, Georgia, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, or Arizona
