Illinois Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the full-time Illinois Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess patients' mental and physical health, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop treatment plans, and provide psychotherapy and medication management in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct assessments, diagnose psychiatric disorders, and provide individual psychotherapy to patients across the lifespan
- Prescribe medications, monitor patient responses, and educate patients and families about treatment options
- Document patient histories and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA and national standards of care
Required qualifications
- 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
- Experience in Addiction and Mental Health
- Ability to work with patients aged 13 and older
- Familiarity with EHRs and telehealth technology
