Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the full-time Illinois Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess patients' mental and physical health, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop treatment plans, and conduct individual psychotherapy in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose psychiatric disorders while providing care to patients across the lifespan
- Prescribe medications, monitor their usage and side effects, and educate patients on treatment options
- Document patient histories and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA and national standards of care
Required qualifications
- 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
- Currently holds a Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
- Experience in Addiction and Mental Health
- Comfort working with patients across the lifespan (ages 13+)
- Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and substance abuse dual-diagnoses
