Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the full-time salaried Illinois Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess patients' mental and physical health, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop treatment plans, and provide individual psychotherapy in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose psychiatric disorders and conduct individual psychotherapy for patients across the lifespan
- Prescribe psychotropic medications and monitor patients' medication usage and side effects
- Document patient histories, treatment plans, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and national standards of care
Required qualifications
- 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
- Currently holds a Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
- Experience in Addiction and Mental Health
- Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and/or substance abuse dual-diagnoses
- Experience working with adults in need of general mental health and/or severe mental illness (SMI) treatment
