Job Summary
To support a growing mental health practice, the full-time Illinois Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess and diagnose patients, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Assess patients' mental and physical health, diagnose psychiatric disorders, and conduct individual psychotherapy
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and evaluate treatment plans, including monitoring medication usage and side effects
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) while adhering to HIPAA and state regulations
Required qualifications
- 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
- Current Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
- Experience in Addiction and Mental Health, with a focus on adult patients
- Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and dual-diagnoses related to substance abuse
- Ability to work with patients across the lifespan (ages 13 and older) and experience with telehealth technology
