Illinois Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Job Summary
To support a growing mental health practice, the full-time Illinois Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess patients' mental and physical health, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose psychiatric disorders and conduct individual psychotherapy for patients across the lifespan
- Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications, educating patients on their risks and benefits
- Document patient care and maintain compliance with HIPAA and national standards
Required qualifications
- 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner
- Current Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
- Experience in Addiction and Mental Health
- Comfort working with patients aged 13 years and older
- Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and maintain timely documentation in EHRs
