Job Summary
Providing clinical intervention for members with Substance Use Disorders (SUD) and mental health disorders, the full-time Illinois Licensed Recovery Counselor will work remotely to co-facilitate virtual multidisciplinary groups and deliver evidence-based services using telehealth platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Co-facilitate virtual multidisciplinary groups and support groups related to SUD topics
- Utilize Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques in both group and individual formats
- Prepare documentation in accordance with organizational and state standards while completing evaluations for program enrollment
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Independent clinical Illinois state licensure (LCSW or LMFT) is required
- At least one year of experience providing SUD services in an inpatient or outpatient setting
- Fluency in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) skills
- Ability to manage crisis interventions remotely and facilitate therapeutic groups
