Job Summary

As a critical member of the Respiratory Support Team, the full-time Illinois Licensed Respiratory Therapist will provide clinical expertise in home respiratory care, ensuring proper setup and monitoring of CPAP, BiPAP, ventilation, and oxygen therapy for patients in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a clinical subject matter expert for home respiratory care, maintaining and updating clinical content and standard operating procedures
• Provide clinical oversight, including patient instruction, device setup verification, and monitoring treatment effectiveness, while acting as an escalation point for patient concerns
• Review remote monitoring data and track adherence to payor compliance, documenting results in a format suitable for billing and coverage purposes

Required qualifications

• CRT required; RRT strongly preferred
• Active RT licensure in Illinois, with a willingness to obtain additional state licenses
• Experience in home or DME respiratory care, particularly with CPAP, RAD, home ventilation, and oxygen
• Familiarity with Medicare DMEPOS coverage criteria and documentation requirements
• Comfortable with remote care delivery and effective communication with patients and non-clinical team members
