Job Summary
Leading a remote team, the full-time Illinois Licensed Revenue Cycle Lead will oversee the Charge Description Master, ensuring accuracy and compliance while managing charge code integrity and pricing updates.
Key responsibilities
- Lead daily operations of the CDM team, assigning and reviewing work related to charge code management
- Update fee schedules and monitor compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer regulations
- Collaborate with clinical and financial teams to optimize revenue and reduce claim denials
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of hospital CDM analyst experience
- Extensive knowledge of healthcare regulations, coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS), and reimbursement methodologies
- Experience with CDM/pricing tools and hospital billing or EMR systems, with Epic preferred
- RHIA, RHITA, and/or CCS certification required; Epic CDM Analyst certification preferred within 3 months of employment
