Job Summary

Leading perioperative and procedural billing operations, the full-time Illinois Licensed Senior Billing Analyst will ensure accurate and timely revenue capture while collaborating with various departments to improve billing accuracy and compliance in a remote day shift role.

Key responsibilities

• Review system-generated charge reports to identify and correct inaccuracies, ensuring charges are posted within three days of service
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle to maintain departmental work queues and support timely billing processes
• Develop and educate staff on billing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards

Required qualifications

• High School diploma (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• 5-7 years of hospital billing operations experience
• 3 years of hospital coding experience
• Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care billing regulations
• AAPC or AHIMA certification required within 12 months of hire
