Illinois Licensed Telepsychiatrist
Job Summary
To support a growing virtual outpatient psychiatry team, the full-time Illinois Licensed Telepsychiatrist will provide remote care to diverse patient populations, including adolescents and pediatrics, during Monday to Friday clinic hours with occasional weekend call.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver virtual psychiatric care to patients across the lifespan
- Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and management
- Participate in occasional weekend call as needed for patient support
Required qualifications
- Physician licensed to practice medicine in Illinois
- Board certified or board eligible in psychiatry
- Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration to prescribe narcotics
- Eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs
- Must meet qualifications for professional malpractice coverage participation
