Illustration Instructor
Job Summary
Seeking a part-time Illustration Instructor for the Pre-College Online program, who will teach and provide feedback to high school students in a remote, asynchronous format, focusing on nurturing their artistic skills and developing a portfolio through engaging online sessions and assignments.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging online lessons that include demonstrations, presentations, and group discussions
- Provide constructive feedback and support to students, fostering an inclusive and culturally responsive learning environment
- Develop course materials and assignments that challenge students creatively while being age-appropriate
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Teaching experience in a collegiate and/or high school setting
- Demonstrated expertise in Illustration with a strong portfolio of work
- Proficiency with online collaborative tools and learning management systems
- Ability to tailor instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
