Combining local cultural knowledge with web research, the full-time Image Researcher - Japanese will create visual challenges for AI systems by sourcing authentic images, conducting thorough investigations, and documenting usage permissions while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Source and document authentic images from assigned locales, ensuring proper usage permissions
• Investigate image subjects using various online tools and write clear prompts in English
• Create grading criteria and solution notes that explain correct answers and research processes

Required qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a relevant field
• Native or highly fluent in Japanese with strong working proficiency in English
• Strong knowledge of Japanese culture and landmarks
• Basic image-editing skills, including cropping and masking
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in any field
