Immunology Portfolio Manager

Job Summary

Providing strategic leadership across Immunology and Infectious Disease portfolios, the remote Head of Immunology, Portfolio Manager will oversee complex global clinical development programs, drive client partnerships, and ensure financial performance while leading cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide executive-level strategic oversight of multiple complex global clinical development programs, ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements
• Lead portfolio strategy, financial performance, resource planning, and risk management across major accounts
• Drive business development through proposal strategy, account expansion, and fostering relationships with biotech and pharmaceutical clients

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Life Sciences, Clinical Research, or a related discipline with 15+ years of clinical research experience and 10+ years in project or portfolio management leadership
• Deep clinical development expertise in Immunology, with preferred experience in Infectious Disease and comprehensive knowledge of drug development and clinical trials
• Proven success in overseeing large, complex global portfolios and managing senior-level client relationships, ideally within CRO, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical sectors
• Strong commercial and financial leadership capabilities, including business development, budgeting, and executive stakeholder management
