Implementation Engineer
Job Summary
Engaging with enterprise customers during their initial adoption of the ThousandEyes platform, the full-time remote Implementation Engineer will deliver enablement, implementation, and optimization services while acting as a trusted technical advisor throughout the deployment process.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and execute deployments, configure monitoring, and document solutions for customer environments
- Deliver customer training and provide best-practice recommendations tailored to individual needs
- Act as a technical advisor, ensuring successful deployment, adoption, and value realization of the ThousandEyes platform
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience in a technical field, or a Master's degree with 6 years, or a PhD with 3 years of related experience
- Project management and consulting experience with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong understanding of network and application protocols, with Cisco/Juniper certification preferred
- Experience maintaining or implementing LAN/WAN environments
- Familiarity with web technologies, including REST APIs, and proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.)
