Job Summary
Configuring Salesforce Marketing Cloud and customer data platforms, the full-time Implementation Engineer in California will build reliable journeys, automations, and integrations while collaborating with clients and technical teams in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain Salesforce Marketing Cloud journeys and automations using various tools and data extensions
- Write SQL and AMPscript for audience preparation, personalization, and campaign processes
- Document configurations, dependencies, and operational procedures while troubleshooting integration issues
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in marketing technology implementation, particularly with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Demonstrated experience building and troubleshooting Marketing Cloud journeys and automations
- Strong SQL and AMPscript skills, along with working knowledge of JavaScript for platform scripting
- Experience configuring at least one enterprise CDP, including customer profiles and identity resolution
- Familiarity with REST APIs and data integrations using tools like Postman
