Job Summary
Supporting the Highgate, VT team, the full-time remote Import Specialist will process customer data and manage the movement of goods across international borders while serving as a liaison for customer service and compliance with U.S. regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Process Customs and PGA entries for the clearance of goods into the United States
- Resolve customer issues related to billing and shipment tracking while building strong customer relationships
- Coordinate shipping details with U.S. forwarders and maintain communication with customers, carriers, and vendors
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365
- Experience with client submission requirements and clearance of specific commodities
- Ability to stay up-to-date on regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience in customer service and handling confidential information
