Job Summary
Coordinating release and entry processing, the full-time remote Import Specialist will ensure accurate shipment processing, create customs entries, and maintain effective relationships with clients and regulatory bodies while following a rotating biweekly schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of shipments and customs entries
- Verify documentation for compliance and escalate issues as necessary
- Utilize system automation tools to support release processing and maintain client relationships
Required qualifications
- At least 2 years of customs brokerage experience
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Familiarity with Customs laws, regulations, and industry practices
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Word and Excel software
