Job Summary
Supporting the Chicago team remotely, the full-time Import Specialist will process customer data for the movement of goods across international borders, serve as a customer service liaison, and ensure compliance with U.S. regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the customer service liaison, resolving issues related to billing and shipment tracking
- Process Customs and PGA entries for the clearance of goods into the United States
- Maintain communication with customers, carriers, and vendors to coordinate shipping details and ensure compliance with regulations
Required qualifications
- High school Diploma/GED
- Previous experience in customs and/or logistics
- Ability to complete required courses related to dangerous goods and export regulations within twelve months
