In-House Counsel

Job Summary

To support a growing tech company, the full-time In-House Counsel will manage legal strategy and execution related to privacy, data, AI, compliance, and commercial contracts while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop scalable legal systems and processes for privacy and compliance support across the organization
• Partner with cross-functional teams to address legal considerations in product development and customer security
• Provide timely legal guidance on GDPR, data processing, and commercial contracts to minimize reliance on outside counsel

Required qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school in the United States
• Active member in good standing of a State Bar Association
• Experience as in-house counsel at a tech company or with a top-tier firm serving tech clients
• Deep expertise in U.S. and European data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
• Strong understanding of commercial contracts and intellectual property law
