Job Summary
To support time-sensitive transcript needs, the full-time In-House Steno Scopist will manage transcript reviews, assist reporters with backlog reduction, and ensure compliance with client specifications, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Handle rescue jobs and perform corrected transcript reviews and analysis
- Verify client or reporter feedback and support database cleanup efforts
- Create and maintain templates for CAT software platforms and assist with digital reporting tasks
Required qualifications
- Extensive experience as a court reporter and/or professional scopist
- Proficiency in Eclipse and/or Case CATalyst
- Strong understanding of transcript production standards and best practices
- Excellent proofreading and editing expertise with a high level of English proficiency
- Ability to handle confidential material professionally and provide flexible coverage as needed
