In-Memory Database Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Database Engineering team, the fully remote In-Memory Database Platform Engineer will build, operate, and modernize enterprise in-memory database services, focusing on Redis deployments and cloud-managed offerings while ensuring reliable operations, automation, and performance.

Key responsibilities:

• Build, deploy, administer, and support Redis environments across on-premises and cloud platforms
• Monitor database performance, troubleshoot incidents, and implement corrective actions
• Develop automation for provisioning, configuration, and routine operations to enhance efficiency

Required qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in database administration, engineering, or related infrastructure roles
• 2+ years of hands-on Redis administration experience in production environments
• Solid Linux administration skills, preferably with RHEL or a comparable distribution
• Experience with high availability, backup/recovery strategies, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with at least one cloud-managed in-memory database service
