Incident Response Analyst

Job Summary

To support a growing security team, the full-time Incident Response Analyst will monitor and improve clients' security postures, investigate cybersecurity incidents, and lead incident response efforts while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Process investigation requests from SOC Analysts and perform in-depth analysis of security events
• Lead incident response and threat hunting for high-priority security incidents until resolution
• Develop and review incident response playbooks to ensure alignment with security strategies and effectiveness

Required qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of SIEM, TCP/IP, IDS/IPS, and various operating systems (Windows, UNIX, Linux)
• Professional experience in system administration supporting multiple platforms and applications
• Understanding of incident response procedures and methodologies
• Familiarity with security tools such as EDR, anti-virus, and forensic analysis tools
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation for high-priority security incidents
