Incident Response Analyst

Job Summary

Investigating security incidents, the full-time Incident Response Analyst will triage alerts, analyze phishing attempts, and document findings while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Triages and investigates security alerts and escalates incidents to the DFIR team as per defined criteria
• Analyzes phishing and malicious emails to determine their disposition and executes containment actions
• Documents investigation steps and findings in the case management system, supporting enterprise-wide remediation efforts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field or equivalent experience
• 0 - 2 years of related experience in security incident response or analysis
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and operating system basics (Windows and Linux)
• Familiarity with indicators of compromise (IOCs) and tactics used by threat actors
• Preferred certifications include CompTIA Security+, Microsoft SC-200, or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
