Job Summary
To support cybersecurity initiatives, the full-time remote Incident Response Analyst will monitor, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and develop preventive strategies to enhance organizational defenses.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and investigate cybersecurity incidents, implementing containment and recovery measures
- Analyze security alerts and conduct forensic investigations to identify potential threats
- Collaborate with security teams and stakeholders to strengthen security controls and ensure compliance with policies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in incident response
- 5+ years of experience handling advanced persistent threats (APTs) and cloud-based threats in an incident response capacity
- Experience with Microsoft Defender EDR and knowledge of SOC best practices
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination
- Experience working directly with clients in a professional demeanor
