Incident Response Security Engineer

Job Summary

Driving the adoption of modern security processes and tooling, the full-time Incident Response Security Engineer will develop automation for incident management, collaborate on detection use cases, and handle security events in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop processes and automation to scale incident management response and mitigate risks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify detection use cases and implement automation
• Maintain the security logging platform and stay updated on threats to enhance detection mechanisms

Required qualifications

• Background in product security, red teaming, penetration testing, or threat modeling with incident response experience
• Strong knowledge and experience with one or more cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Significant development and automation experience, preferably in Golang and Python
• Experience securing large-scale customer-facing cloud infrastructures
• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
