Income Reconciliation Accountant

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Income Reconciliation Accountant, this full-time remote position will manage high-volume payment platforms, maintain accurate accounting records, and ensure compliance with financial regulations while acting as a liaison between the fundraising and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Recommend and implement new income platforms and workflows, updating financial records and reconciling donations
• Perform detailed reconciliations for payment platforms and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Improve accounting systems and processes by identifying automation opportunities and developing practical tools for efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Understanding of relevant accounting standards, with knowledge of IFRS preferred
• Experience with various GAAPs or statutory environments, particularly in Hong Kong, Mainland China, or the UK
• Strong skills in Excel and Google Sheets, including complex reconciliations and reporting
• Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems such as Sun Accounting or Netsuite
• Experience with reporting tools like Tableau or Power BI is advantageous
