Job Summary
To support Indiana Medicaid pharmacy operations, the full-time remote Indiana Licensed Clinical Pharmacist (Formulary & Quality) will lead formulary, prior authorization, and clinical policy initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams and analyzing pharmacy performance data.
Key responsibilities
- Develop clinical criteria for medications and recommend plan design changes and clinical programs
- Monitor prior authorization requests and provide clinical support to internal departments
- Ensure quality controls and initiate performance improvement opportunities in pharmacy practice
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (Pharm.D., M.S.) in pharmacy
- Current Indiana Pharmacist license with no restrictions
- 2+ years of experience in mail order, retail, hospital, or managed care pharmacy, or 1+ years in a pharmacy residency program
- Experience in specialty drug management is preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and data analysis skills
