Job Summary

Providing day-to-day leadership and support to the medical coding team, the full-time remote Indiana Licensed Coding Supervisor will ensure coding quality, productivity, and compliance while fostering a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support medical coding staff, ensuring adherence to department standards
• Monitor and verify coding quality and performance, identifying areas for improvement
• Provide training and ongoing education to coding staff while assisting with problem-solving related to coding issues

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• Certification such as Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) is required
• Five years of previous medical coding experience is required
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or training experience is preferred
