Job Summary
Managing a portfolio of assigned delinquent accounts, the full-time Indiana Licensed Collections Specialist will perform collection activities, initiate contact with debtors, and document all communications while providing exceptional customer service in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Initiate contact with debtors through phone calls, emails, and written correspondence to discuss outstanding debts and negotiate payment arrangements
- Document all collection activities in compliance with client standards and Federal Regulations
- Utilize skip tracing techniques to locate debtors with changed contact information
Required qualifications
- Must possess an Indiana Collections License upon placement
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business or related fields is preferred
- 0-1 years of experience in collections or related customer service roles, preferably in a financial or credit environment
- Proficiency in using collections software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, and weekends as required
