Information Assurance Analyst

Job Summary

Working in a hybrid remote and onsite capacity in Charleston, SC, the full-time Information Assurance Analyst will conduct ongoing assessments of information systems security, define metrics to communicate security posture, and present technical information to diverse audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing assessments of information systems security requirements and perform STIG analysis
• Define metrics and reporting strategies to effectively communicate security posture to clients
• Analyze outputs from various security tools and review the information security posture within eMASS

Required qualifications

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline with 5-7 years of experience, or equivalent education and experience
• DoD 8570 (IAT Level II) certification is required
• 10+ years of IT experience is required, with specific experience in NIST 800-53 and the Risk Management Framework (NIST 800-37)
• Knowledge of Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) and experience in reviewing results from SCAP compliant tools
