Job Summary
Extracting structured facts from long, free-text documents, the remote Information Extraction Engineer will maintain traceability of data back to its source while ensuring accuracy and consistency in a secure government cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Extract structured facts from long, free-text, narrative, and semi-structured documents
- Maintain a traceable pointer from every extracted fact back to the exact source passage it came from
- Validate that every cited passage supports the extracted fact and flag unsupported citations as defects
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years extracting structured facts or data from unstructured, narrative text in a production setting
- Experience keeping extracted output traceable to its source
- Strong Python skills, with hands-on experience in NLP or information-extraction tooling
- US Citizenship required
- Active US Secret clearance
