Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

Owning security in the AWS environment, the full-time Information Security Engineer will manage IAM, network segmentation, and incident response while automating compliance and vulnerability management processes in a fully remote role.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee security in the AWS environment, including IAM, encryption, and logging
• Integrate security into the development pipeline through automation and threat modeling
• Lead customer security reviews and manage regulatory compliance for financial institutions

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering or security-heavy infrastructure, particularly with AWS
• Proficiency in Python and Terraform or similar automation tools
• Experience with SOC 2 audits and knowledge of privacy legislation
• Familiarity with financial services scrutiny and LLM security risks
• Strong writing skills for clear communication in a remote environment
