Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

Owning security in a fully remote environment, the full-time Information Security Engineer will manage AWS security, integrate security into the development pipeline, and automate compliance processes while preparing for a future CISO role.

Key responsibilities

• Manage security in the AWS environment, including IAM, network segmentation, and logging
• Integrate security practices into the development pipeline and automate detection and compliance processes
• Lead vulnerability management, incident response, and customer security reviews while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering or security-focused infrastructure work, particularly with AWS
• Proficiency in Python and Terraform or similar automation tools
• Experience with SOC 2 audits and knowledge of privacy legislation
• Familiarity with financial services security requirements and LLM security risks
• Strong written communication skills for remote and asynchronous work environments
