Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time salaried Information Security Engineer will monitor production systems for security events, conduct vulnerability assessments, and support compliance with various regulations to ensure the security of Edmentum's data and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor production systems for security events and participate in incident response efforts
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement risk frameworks to address security gaps
• Collaborate with technology teams to integrate security practices into development and operational processes

Required qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in securing enterprise IT infrastructure, preferably in a SaaS environment
• Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent hands-on experience
• Familiarity with security frameworks and regulations such as NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning and remediation
• Understanding of SDLC methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile
