Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Information Security Engineer, the ideal candidate will implement data protection tools, manage ePHI discovery, and enhance data security posture management while collaborating with security leadership and system owners.

Key responsibilities

• Own ePHI discovery and inventory, ensuring accurate classification and documentation across various platforms
• Implement and integrate a data security posture management (DSPM) platform and related tooling to enhance data protection
• Mature DLP and SASE controls, tuning policies and establishing response processes for PHI movement events

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in security engineering with a proven track record of implementing security tools end to end
• Hands-on experience with DSPM, data discovery, or data classification platforms
• Experience in implementing and tuning DLP and SASE, SSE, or CASB solutions
• Deep understanding of data storage and access across major cloud platforms and SaaS applications
• Proficiency in using AI tools for efficiency in security operations
