Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote Information Security Engineer, the ideal candidate will implement data protection tools, lead ePHI discovery and inventory, and enhance existing security controls while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Own ePHI discovery and inventory, ensuring accurate classification and documentation across cloud and SaaS environments
- Implement a data security posture management (DSPM) platform and integrate supporting tooling for data classification
- Support vulnerability remediation and incident response, including monitoring critical vulnerabilities and investigating data exfiltration events
Required qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in security engineering with a focus on implementing security tools end to end
- Hands-on experience with DSPM, data discovery, and data classification platforms
- Proficiency in implementing and tuning DLP and SASE solutions
- Deep understanding of data storage and access across major cloud platforms and SaaS applications
- Experience using AI tools for efficiency in security operations
