Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

Assisting the Information Security team, the full-time remote Information Security Engineer I will participate in risk analysis, monitor security practices, and provide vulnerability remediation support while collaborating with SOC analysts and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with risk analysis of identified security issues or events
• Monitor the effectiveness of security practices and provide vulnerability remediation support
• Collaborate with SOC analysts and participate in communication with vendors regarding security products

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a computer-related or information security-related field, or 1-3 years equivalent work experience
• Information Security-related certification, education, or project work preferred
• Basic knowledge of common vulnerabilities and network/application terminology
• Understanding of basic DevOps practices and/or Agile methodologies preferred
• Basic coding and/or scripting capabilities in a programming language preferred
