Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

An organization is seeking an Information Security Engineer to implement security best practices and protect digital assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate vulnerability scans and penetration testing, review output, provide initial analysis, and manage remediation
• Perform information security incident response and issue-resolution as needed
• Implement, configure, and upgrade security tools and systems

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in Cloud, networking, or security operations roles
• Experience with vulnerability management and scanning tools
• Knowledge of common security frameworks, cloud-security design patterns, and technical risk assessment methods
• Experience with DevSecOps processes and cloud and infrastructure security best practices
• Preferably hold certifications such as GSEC, CISSP, or AWS Certified Security - Specialty
