Information Security Engineer II

Job Summary

To enhance enterprise security programs, the contract Information Security Engineer II will focus on insider threat detection, security monitoring, and incident investigation while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate transaction monitoring and security alerts from initiation through final disposition
• Design, implement, and improve Insider Threat and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) programs
• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and engineering teams to translate business needs into technical security solutions

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity Operations, Insider Threat, Security Monitoring, Incident Response, or Information Security
• Hands-on experience implementing or supporting Insider Threat Programs
• Experience working with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) technologies
• Strong understanding of security investigations, alert triage, and case management
• Experience with User Behavior Analytics (UBA/UEBA) platforms
