Information Security Engineer II

Job Summary

To support the modernization of enterprise security monitoring, the remote contract Information Security Engineer II will manage the migration of log sources to CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen SIEM, ensuring effective security telemetry collection and monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Support enterprise SIEM operations and centralized security monitoring capabilities
• Assist with the migration of log sources from various technologies into CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen SIEM
• Collaborate with teams to validate log collection, monitor telemetry pipelines, and improve detection capabilities

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Security Engineering, SIEM Administration, or Security Operations
• Hands-on experience with CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen SIEM, Splunk, CRIBL, and Syslog-NG
• Experience onboarding and managing log sources in enterprise environments
• Working knowledge of Windows, Linux, Active Directory, DNS, VPN, and firewalls
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow
