Job Summary
Supporting DSOP platform-wide cybersecurity requirements, the remote Information Security Engineer with Secret Clearance will conduct security assessments, develop configurations, and manage security controls while collaborating with cross-functional teams during Eastern Standard Time working hours.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct container and Kubernetes security assessments
- Develop hardened configurations and STIG-aligned baselines
- Perform vulnerability scanning, remediation tracking, and reporting
Required qualifications:
- 8-10+ years of cybersecurity or security engineering experience
- Active DoW Secret clearance or higher
- Expertise with Kubernetes security, container scanning tools, and image hardening
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Familiarity with DoD STIGs, RMF, ACAS, Nessus, OpenSCAP, etc
