Information System Security Officer

Job Summary

Supporting the information assurance program for cloud-based and classified systems, the full-time remote Information System Security Officer (ISSO) will manage security compliance, oversee the authorization lifecycle, and collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into DevSecOps practices.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Information Assurance program by developing and maintaining core RMF documentation and ensuring compliance with security policies
• Manage security authorization efforts and maintain the operational security posture of assigned systems
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to implement security controls and respond to security incidents

Required qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including 2 years as an ISSO in a cloud or federal environment
• Working knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 and FedRAMP Moderate/High
• Experience with RMF steps and authoring relevant security documentation
• Security+ certification or equivalent DoD 8570/8140 baseline certification
