Job Summary
To support critical business application systems, the contracted Information Systems Applications Specialist III will lead the analysis, design, development, and support of software solutions, collaborating with various teams while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and translate business needs into functional requirements and technical specifications
- Perform systems design and application programming, ensuring adherence to security standards and best practices
- Design and execute comprehensive testing protocols, troubleshooting defects and maintaining existing applications
Required Qualifications
- Completion of twelve (12) semester hours in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field plus three (3) years of applications development experience
- Completion of a minimum of 156 hours of vocational or technical education courses resulting in certification in applications development plus three (3) years of experience
- An equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one (1) year of full-time experience in applications development for required coursework, plus three (3) additional years of specialized experience
