Job Summary
Transforming and automating core infrastructure operations, the remote contract Infrastructure Automation Engineer will design, build, and deploy automated solutions using Ansible, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and modern CI/CD pipelines to enhance enterprise environments.
Key responsibilities
- Design and maintain Ansible playbooks for automating operational runbooks and infrastructure provisioning
- Standardize configuration management and deployment processes across complex IT environments
- Integrate automation workflows with Git and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines while collaborating on cloud transformation initiatives
Required qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, or technical operations
- Hands-on expertise with Ansible Automation Platform, IaC methodologies, and YAML
- Strong background in Linux system administration and Python/PowerShell scripting
- Practical experience with CI/CD tools (Git, Azure DevOps) and ITIL operational processes
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
