Infrastructure Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a skilled full-time Infrastructure Engineer to work remotely, who will design, build, and improve core software components while managing observability and incident response for Tailscale's product.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and document core software components as part of the engineering team
- Exhibit ownership over running services by enhancing observability and participating in incident response
- Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources
Required Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD, secrets management, infrastructure as code, and observability
- Experience with distributed systems and operating managed services in a cloud environment (preferably AWS)
- Experience with operating Kubernetes in production is a strong plus
- Familiarity with networks (IP addressing, routing, etc.)
- Experience with the Go programming language is a plus
