Infrastructure Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the cloud infrastructure end-to-end, the full-time remote Infrastructure Engineer will lead the management of AWS resources, build reproducible environments for engineers, and enhance observability and incident response across the platform.
Key responsibilities
- Take ownership of Alt's AWS footprint, optimizing resources and implementing cost visibility
- Lead the creation of isolated, production-like environments for engineers and AI agents
- Improve non-production environments and manage infrastructure-as-code with Terraform
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of infrastructure, platform, or SRE experience with deep AWS expertise
- Proven track record of improving CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling
- Experience managing non-production environments and seed data systems
- Strong background in observability and incident response
- Excellent documentation and collaboration skills
