Infrastructure Engineer I
Job Summary
Responsible for the operations of secure and highly available computing platforms, the full-time remote Infrastructure Engineer I will install, maintain, and upgrade the Company's operating environment while ensuring reliability, performance, and support of the infrastructure.
Key responsibilities:
- Monitor operating environments, respond to incidents, and support on-call responsibilities
- Design, install, configure, and maintain server operating systems, networks, and related utilities
- Collaborate with internal business clients to understand application context and ensure successful implementation
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Three to five years of experience in an IT environment, with at least one year supporting personal computers in a multi-site environment
- Experience in the insurance industry is highly preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365, DNS, DHCP, RHEL, and Windows Operating Systems
- Familiarity with middleware application platforms and job scheduling software
