Infrastructure Security Analyst

Job Summary

To support the VA ICAM IOSS project, the remote Infrastructure Security & Patch Compliance Analyst will validate infrastructure patches, track compliance with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Authorization to Operate (ATO), and coordinate vulnerability remediation with cybersecurity teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate infrastructure patches before and after deployment to confirm successful implementation and identify potential issues
• Track RMF and ATO compliance for infrastructure assets
• Coordinate vulnerability remediation activities with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• Experience with risk management and compliance tracking
• Knowledge of vulnerability and patch management processes
• Understanding of infrastructure security and patch validation processes
• Active Secret clearance is required
