Infrastructure Security Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing technology environment, the full-time Infrastructure Security Engineer will design, administer, and secure corporate and program-specific technology infrastructures while ensuring compliance with federal cybersecurity requirements, all in a fully remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement, and improve secure and scalable infrastructure across corporate and program environments
- Implement and document cybersecurity controls, supporting RMF activities and maintaining ATO packages
- Collaborate with internal teams to translate operational and cybersecurity requirements into practical solutions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, engineering, or a related discipline
- Seven or more years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, cloud administration, or cybersecurity
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, virtualization, and networking technologies
- Experience implementing controls under NIST SP 800-53, RMF, or comparable federal cybersecurity requirements
- Current CompTIA Security+ certification and U.S. citizenship required
